Dress code
Members are expected to dress in a manner that keeps and respects the traditions of the game and Club Membership. Shorts and collared shirts are acceptable. In rare occasions, the host club may make a specific request, which the Crown Club Golf Society will communicate and abide by.

Conduct
* We encourage members to have fun, enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow man, and to play their best. Reverence and respect for host clubs, along with not taking oneself too seriously in the company of others is our ideal. * Conduct deemed unfit for the Crown Club Golf Society will result in loss of membership, with no monetary refund. * Your character will linger long after your score.

Guest privileges
Guest privileges may be extended by the Crown Club Golf Society for limited events. Guests must be accompanied by Crown Club Golf Society members at the Host club. Guest privileges may be withdrawn, denied, or revoked by the leadership of the Crown Club Golf Society at any time. Members will be responsible for guest charges not paid by the aforementioned guest.
Tournament Rules, Procedures

TOURNAMENT APPLICATION AND PAYMENT
All event entry fees must be submitted prior to the entry deadline to secure a place in the field. Entry is to be completed via the web portal or the Crown Club Golf Society app.

CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS, SCORING
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@crownclub.com. Any member who is registered, but does not show up for an event will forfeit their entry fee. If a member withdraws prior to a fully subscribed event, the Crown Club Golf Society will attempt to fill the vacancy. If the vacancy cannot be filled, the member entry fee will be forfeited. If the vacancy is filled, the member will receive their original entry fee, less 25% Members who habitually back out of events may be asked to resign. Failure to hand in a score card at the end of an event or habitually scoring 15 strokes above ones handicap may result in the forfeiture of membership in the Society.

TOURNAMENT FORMATS
Tournament formats will be varied and range from individual stroke play, four-ball stroke play, match play, Stableford, and Ryder-Cup style formats.

STARTING TIMES
Tournaments will typically utilize starting times with occasional shotguns for large/full field events. Pairings will be available on the Society’s website and app prior to the event and emailed to all participants. Pairings are subject to change prior to the event. The Crown Club Golf Society will may make every effort to work with individual member’s travel needs, but cannot be guaranteed.

CHECK-IN AND STARTING
Members are required to check in 30 minutes prior to their starting time and should be ready for play, on their assigned tee box, ten minutes prior to their tee time. A player will be deemed disqualified if they are more than 5 minutes late for their tee time.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of severe weather conditions, members are expected to adhere to the discretion of the host club’s professional staff. If the course is deemed unplayable by the host club, the Crown Club Golf Society will notify members immediately of any changes. Every effort will be made to restart events in the case of delays. All members should remain at the host facility an await the decision of the host club’s professional staff. Events shortened by severe weather are outside of the control of the Crown Club Golf Society, and as such, refunds will not be issued due to these rare cases.
