Frequently Asked Questions
How can I join the Crown Club Golf Society?
An existing member can refer you or you may submit a membership application here: https://app.crownclub.golf
Is there an interview process? What does it entail if so?
You must submit a questionnaire to gauge fit, then you will be interviewed by two founding members.
Do I have to be a member of a private club to join?
No, anyone who loves the game, plays with reasonable pace, and is respectful of the game and their fellow man is welcome.
Does the Crown Club Golf Society have a home club I would be a member of?
No, Society membership gives you full access to our events calendar where you will be able to sign up for any of our National Events. This is the best way to play and meet fellow members.
I am a member of a private club(s) currently, am I required to host?
You are not required to host events or fellow members at large, but may be asked by our concierge on occasion to host members on a limited, individual basis.
How many events do you hold per year?
Where are the events held?
For the most part, we follow the sun (great weather) and the seasons to ensure you, as a member, see optimum conditions. We are a National Club with members in nearly all 50 states.
How many events can I play in per year?
As many as you want (no caps) as long as the spots are available.
Is there a cap on the number of Members the Society will take on?
Yes, we base it on the number of spots/events we hold per year so that everyone has a reasonable opportunity to play in as many events as their schedule allows.
Are guests allowed to attend events?
On a limited basis, yes.
Are family members allowed to attend events?
On a limited basis, yes.
If I wanted to play some of the Top 100 courses in the United States, outside of events held by the society, is that possible?
We handle requests strictly through our concierge service to protect the privacy of our membership.
What is the membership base like?
We are a diverse group of golf enthusiasts that believe at our core, in living in the present. The Crown Club Golf Society is about community, more than checking a box at a nice club.
Have fun, play quick, be generous, ‘do unto others’, don’t take yourself too seriously, & be a good human. Pretty simple.
What is the over-arching goal of the Crown Club Golf Society?
To build community and life-long friendships through the Greatest game ever invented/played.
How is the Crown Club Golf Society different from others Golf Society’s?
Just like local clubs, every Society has a different feel, leadership team, and membership base. We have been members ourselves of multiple National Society’s and each has their pros and cons, just like ours might for you. Joining a Society and not being able to play in events because spots are limited or sell out quickly is one of our biggest differentiators. This is why we are intentional with our membership roles.
